Pennsylvania Durable General Power of Attorney
This Durable General Power of Attorney (POA) is a legal document which allows you to appoint an individual or individuals to handle Property, Business and Financial Affairs if you are unable to. You are granting another person or persons the authority to make decisions on your behalf. Written according to Pennsylvania Law, this Durable POA allows you to name one or more individuals to manage your finances, including paying your bills, entering into real estate transactions and more, when these important decisions need to be made and you are unable to make them. This person(s) is called your Agent. You can choose any adult that you trust to be your Agent. A Durable General Power of Attorney allows your Agent(s) to act on your behalf even if you become incapacitated. If the time comes when you are unable to make your own financial decisions, your Agent(s) will be able to make these decisions for you. Choosing the right Agent is very important. They will have the authority to handle your finances in your place. An Agent could be your spouse, adult child, an attorney, a parent, or another family member. One that you believe will make financial decisions as if you had made them yourself.
